Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization: This position is responsible for assisting team leader and co-work with team members from Japan and Dalian team as well as 3rd-party vendor for below service lines: Time management Compensation administration Benefit administration Payroll administration Employee inquiries Other country specific processes administration Key Responsibilities: Complete all administrative tasks of the defined services independently and achieve the SLA requirements; Guide the junior team members on daily operation and share the knowledge proactively ; Ensure the process is implemented by following the standards completely; Implement operation control steps compliance with legal requirements and internal policies; Liaise between local HR teams and employees and ensure smooth communication & prompt resolution of all queries; Escalate the process risks and updates to team leader on a timely manner; Ensure the process related documents are updated and submitted for review properly; Proactively identify the process improvement to achieve employees satisfactory and higher efficiency . Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Excellent knowledge of MS-Office applications, especially Excel/Access; familiarity with VBA is an advantage; Experience with business computing solutions, ideally also with SAP-HR and ticketing solutions; Knowledge expert in payroll or C&B area; Good service mindset, people focus and self-motivated; Strong mindset in process improvement and continuous efficiency; Good team player, strong communication and interpersonal skills; Attention to details with good numerical & analytical skills; Eager to learn and keep the knowledge up to date. Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years of payroll or C&B work experience in a similar function for a multi-national company Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience Best knowledge of the Japan business needs, company rules, law and HR regulations Good command of Japanese and written English Key Relationships: GBS H2R Japan Team Manager Global Functional Teams (Finance, Procurement, IT, ect) Japan HR Communiyt (HRBP, Rewards, TA, TP, ect,) GBS H2R Dalian Team Payroll & Benefits Services Vendors
