Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization: Manage sales team and assigned accounts to drive sales initiatives for Fashion Influencer accounts within region APAC Further develop a sales network for niche and limited trend products across adidas brands on a top tier distribution level (such as Consortium and Statement collaboration collections e.g. NOAH, Palace, Neighborhood, Undefeated, A Bathing Ape, etc.) Ensure profitable market share and net sales growth within the APAC GSS Fashion Sneaker channel business while respecting and further amplifying the brand image Key Responsibilities: Develop sales strategies and execution plans for team and FI accounts managed Directly supervise reports and perform supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; coaching and mentoring; addressing complaints and resolving problems in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws Drive account growth and profitability by assessing and building on areas of momentum, capitalize on product/pricing opportunities and course correct with innovative sales tactics to improve sales performance with account Lead sell in and sell through for assigned accounts in collaboration with marketing and account marketing and partner to develop broader marketing strategies for sales team Produce and deliver accurate and reliable quarterly forecasts on or before deadlines Develop and maintain strong relationships built on respect with account(s), consistently delivering a high level of customer service Understand, respect and integrate the business interest of regional sales for/into APAC GSS sales strategies Work closely with all relevant Product and Marketing functions, ensuring effective and efficient work-flow, communication and know-how transfer Work closely with APAC market to consolidate and analyze area markets data on trends for the further development of the BU’s product and collaboration partner portfolio Work closely with CtC and marketing team to ensure pricing harmonization between market organization and GSS APAC Key Relationships: B U Originals brand Product Marketing Statement/Consortium/Energy Fashion Sales Directors APAC Brand &Trend Marketing Originals CtC Statement & Energy Global Sales Operations/Channel Management Key Customers Consortium & Statement EMEA Collaboration Partners APAC GSS Fashion Boutique APAC Sales Director Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Originals, fashion or lifestyle specific knowledge and expertise in regards to market trends and consumer preferences Ability to motivate and lead a team, coach, provide a framework for performance and build talent up within the organization Thorough knowledge of key metric levers and how to use them to create increased profitability and sales for both adidas and its’ retail partners Ability to apply financial data to make decisions and influence outcomes. This includes margins, retail math, forecast/projections, probability and statistical inference, fractions, percentages, ratios, etc. Technical proficiency with MS applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Excellent in English, fluent in Japanese language Excellent presentation and communication skills Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams to achieve mutual goals Highly confidential in managing information and external partners Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: Uniiversity degree in Business, ideally with Marketing focus or equivalent professional experience +6 years of sales experience regional/global +1 year of management experience preferred
