Function Manufacturing Position Production Operator Responsibilities: Main or Key responsibilities: Blending Extrusion Packaging plus SHEM, EHSS and compliance Core responsibilities: Clean and prepare machinery for production of compounds. Produce compounds including mixing and extruding. Package and transport finished compounds to designated areas. Complete all necessary data entry Maintain neat, orderly and safe work environment. Follow all company safety rules and regulations. Follow direction from supervisor as required performing job related tasks. Alert supervision to product quality issues as observed. Provide Feedback on material processing Accurately weigh materials and material handling Provide feedback on material processing/issues related to equipment and other possible Qualifications Required: Education & Training: High School Diploma or equivalent Experience: New Grads to Two years of consistent work experience in manufacturing for Mid hires Knowledge of EHSS processes and practices Competency: Understand and follow written instructions Good written skills Use simple hand tools Possess basic math skills Possess good computer skills Team player with good interpersonal skills. Good communication skills. Decision making skills Desired Skills: Knowledge of thermoplastic compounding Forklift operation license Floor-operated crane operation or Slinging operation license Eligibility Requirements: Must have the ability and willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, holidays, and to work a reasonable level of scheduled and unscheduled overtime You must be 18 years or older You must be willing to take a test as part of the selection process You must be willing to submit to a background check as part of the selection process
