What will you do The PR Specialist is primarily responsible for executing of PR plans and media relations to drive the growth for iconic brands such as Listerine, BAND-AID, Neutrogena, JOHNSON's in Japan. Responsibilities • Partner with cross-functional members in Brand marketing, R&D, Regulatory affairs, etc., as well as external agencies to develop and execute effective PR plans to maximize the reach and engagement with consumers and key stakeholders including media and influencers. • Work closely with PR agencies and manage media relations including photo shoot/interview requests. • Proofread and edit articles and materials such as press releases, factbooks, and social media content. Required Qualifications What we are looking for * Proven experience as public relations professional • Results-oriented strategic problem solver; ability to identify and prioritize key opportunities and execute with excellence. * Strong project management skills and experience in managing multiple projects under tight deadlines. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills (native speaker of Japanese/business level English a plus) * Ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization. * Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team toward collective success * Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and frequent changes.
