Job title: Religious Education Director Location: Yokota, Japan Travel: N/A Duties: The applicant shall Coordinates and administers the comprehensive Catholic Religious Education. The applicant shall assist the Catholic Chaplain in determining curriculum needs, selecting appropriate curriculum in accordance with directions provided. The applicant shall assign students to the correct religious education class. The applicant shall recruit individuals, secure and assign volunteer teachers and aides for each class. The applicant shall maintain an accurate and up to date database on teachers, aides, substitutes, facilitators, children and parents and adult participants in the comprehensive Program. Prepare and coordinate scheduling for all religious education events seeking to avoid and/or resolve schedule conflicts with other chapel programs. Prepare and submit announcements and articles for the weekly parish worship service Develop, plan, coordinate and attend all regular religious education workshops for volunteer teachers. Qualification: The applicant must possess a working knowledge of the religious observances and events of the Catholic faith to anticipate the religious education needs of the Catholic Parish.
